Fashion trend: Your stitch
Whether we spend our autumn afternoons at the needles or scouring the WWW for the hottest knitted items, the main thing is to give knitting its supremacy. Off-White shows that even the staid cardigan has potential. This is definitely one of the hottest fashion trends of the season.

Mountain High
How do you recognize a Swiss person on the mountain? Mammut pieces, which can be found at least as often in the Swiss closet as aromatics in the kitchen. Together with Zalando and Hiking Patrol, Mammut has reissued a classic for mountain tours this fall, the Sapuen Log GTX model. Available in black and Savannah, the shoe supports the natural rolling of the foot and also adapts perfectly to its shape with its 3D Memo Foam cushioning. Naturally, the grip and Gore-Tex membrane ensure that nothing goes wrong, even in the worst weather and on the rockiest of ridges.

Love Story
What if you not only share a love for each other, but also a shared passion? Helmut Newton and Alice Springs shared a fascination for people, for their obvious and hidden sides, for facial features and silhouettes and, last but not least, for the camera that captures all these impressions on film. The two greats of photography always looked over each other’s shoulders as they worked and more than once pressed the shutter release just when one of them was creating a masterpiece. These intimate shots paired with portraits of each other and numerous photographs of the who’s who of Hollywood taken over the years are neatly arranged and beautifully bound in the book “Us and Them”.

We love
Fluff
The intensified form of fluffy? The collection from Tekla and Birkenstock, which not only boasts cozy kaftans, shirts and shorts that are almost too good for bed, but also plush sandals. While the organic cotton sleepwear comes in monochrome slate, mauve stripes and wheat stripes, the soft lambskin slippers remain completely monochrome in the four colors black, lavender, grey and chick yellow. The Nagoya slip-on clogs and the Uji sandals let us float on clouds thanks to the lambskin lining as we stroll down the street – or simply towards the bedroom.

Nice to have
Keeper
Well, here we are, in the middle of fall and right in the middle of a cold shock. Bikini off, gloves on. We get our favorite pair from Hermès, affectionately named “Heart” and made of shiny polished lambskin in this wonderfully dark shade of red that softens the change of season a little.

It-Piece
Double Trouble
The classic Deux Piece still has the stink of the business 90s. Labels like Louis Vuitton are currently changing this by showing combinations of trousers and blazers that don’t have a run-of-the-mill stamp on them. Whether it’s a blouse and skirt or a jacket and culottes, we want pieces made from the same fabric that score double points together.
