Hardworking and mysterious: our April cover model Chaima Ameziane reveals little about herself and yet cannot be overlooked. From the catwalk to cover shoots and campaigns, she masters all the modeling basics.

The boundaries between the job titles of model and influencer are becoming increasingly blurred. You would think so. But they still exist, the models who smile down from every catwalk, every campaign and every cover and care little about how big their Instagram following is.
One of them is Chaima Ameziane, the cover model for our April issue. On the cover, she wears Casablanca – one of the many labels that have their eye on the Algerian. The up-and-coming Parisian brand has not only booked Chaima for the catwalk, but also for its Resort 2025 campaign.

When you plow through Chaima’s CV, you wonder whether she still has any free time. There are catwalks for Elie Saab, The Attico, Missoni, Balmain and Saint Laurent. Campaigns for Missoni and Casablanca. A beauty editorial in Greek Vogue and a Numéro cover. Chaima was spotted on the red carpet at the amfAR Gala in Cannes. Her agencies DNA Models in New York and Viva in Paris and London contribute to her considerable workload.

We may not be astrologers, but we believe that the stars, planets and comets are perfectly aligned for Chaima right now and predict a stellar career for her. Maybe she’ll step in front of the camera for an interview one day and tell us how she masters everyday life as a model so easily.
