When Demna’s very first catwalk show for Gucci took to the stage, or rather the ultra-long catwalk, in Milan, the fashion world was at least as excited about the looks as it was about the selection of models. And Demna delivered, drawing on familiar faces from the fashion world and pop culture. Among them: Nineties icon Kate Moss and model/it-girl/author Emily Ratajkowski, also known to the internet as Emrata. These two are allowed to take their liaison with the label a little further and get up close and personal with two great bags in the new “Beauty and the Bag” campaign. Kate Moss grabs the rectangular Borsetto, Emrata snuggles up with the Gucci Giglio.
