We’ve seen enough romantic dream couples. That’s why we’d rather focus on a friendship that has existed since their teenage years and from which all kinds of wild and artistic universes have sprung. Photographer and creative director Lois Cohen and stylist and creative director Indiana Roma Voss are blossoming into the most exciting duo. Working between photography and fashion, they create worlds that consistently break with archetypes using humor and bright colors. Their portrait series “Local Angels” documents Amsterdam’s eccentric underground scene. And “Metamorphosis” has been exhibited in galleries in Paris and Amsterdam. The 12-part series reconfigures female icons – campy, satirical and wonderfully aesthetically hyper-staged.
