German photographer Stephie Braun publishes her first book “OPAQUE” and creates a monument to herself. We recommend: buy, browse, fall in love.
Ten years is a long time. This makes the fact that Stephie Braun can already look back on a decade of photography at the age of 27 all the more remarkable. With her book “OPAQUE”, the German photographer now ensures that we are left spitting at the page: There are analog images as well as digital ones, personal shots as well as professional ones, and in between short stories and notes that give the pictures more context. The book is both a tribute to photography and a symbol of Braun’s development – and even more, an expression of the passion for a craft that brings joy across all language and cultural boundaries.
Stephie Braun’s book “OPAQUE” (click here for the book) has been published by Kerber Verlag and is not only a project close to our hearts, but also our recommendation to all those who see photography as art.
