You are beautiful, whoever you are. Under the motto “Beauty for Every You”, Zalando Beauty and FACES celebrate your individual beauty. Together, we looked for characters in our social media contest who blow us away with their personality and convince us with their posts. The winners: Jimmy, Laura and Tamina, who were then allowed to spend a day feeling like models and being staged by the professional FACES team. The make-up was applied using products that are all available at Zalando.ch.

My personal make-up style: I have a personal skincare routine. I use scrubs, masks and face cream and accentuate my eyes with mascara and eyebrow pencil. What I love about make-up is that you can put yourself in a different perspective. It takes courage to undergo a change, but it’s worth it because you can inspire other people – and often all it takes is a brushstroke!
Beauty is … the sparkle in your eyes that inspires you and expresses true beauty.
That’s why I took part in the contest: I applied because I have the right model face and can inspire many people.

My personal make-up style: For my personal make-up style, I go for a natural glow and warm colors. I love to emphasize my special features without pretending, but also to set special accents, like a beautiful eyeliner or bright red lips on a grey day. Since I was twelve, I’ve loved experimenting with make-up and trying out new looks. It’s a way for me to live out my creativity and discover new sides to myself, whether on shoots or privately.
Beauty is… having the courage to stand up for yourself and your individuality. This means inner strength, but also self-love and self-care. For me, these are my beauty routines, skincare and little wellness rituals alongside the stressful hospital routine.
That’s why I took part in the contest: The hashtag BeautyForEveryYou appealed to me because I used to have little self-confidence myself and it took me a while to find the beauty and confidence within me. I now feel completely at ease with myself and all my special features, and I wanted to get this message out there.

My personal make-up style: plain and simple. I use powder, contour products, highlighter and blush, plus mascara and lip gloss. Since I like it natural, I express my authentic personality this way. When I go out, I like to emphasize my lips and wear eye shadow. As I also like “more is more”, expressive make-up emphasizes my outfits and the different facets of my personality.
Beauty is...how a person presents themselves and how they treat others. Character and charisma play the biggest role for me here. Even if someone looks good: If they are unfriendly or negative, their external beauty loses value. For me, beauty therefore has a lot to do with a person’s inner values.
That’s why I took part in the contest: I entered this competition for the joy of fashion. I like to slip into different roles and wanted to try to have this incredibly great experience in front of the camera with FACES. Because it was.
