Hair off, glitter and gloss on: Here are our beauty trends of the month.
Hair Trend
Short and Sweet
It always takes some effort to trim the hair that takes its sweet time to grow past the shoulders. However, winter is the best time for a slightly shorter cut, because then the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The biggest one: you can wear the thickest scarves without them turning your hair into a lump of felt. The bob is also easy to style if you just leave it a little messy and naturally wavy.
Special Edition
Glitter
If it’s up to us, it can always glitter. Fortunately, the Christmas season raises everyone’s glitter tolerance. Guerlain is serious about sparkle: make-up classics such as lipstick and eyeshadow palettes have undergone a sparkling makeover that we will be thrilled with even after the holidays.

Softie
If a cat eye was previously too dramatic for you, you can now grab some brown eyeshadow. Not only does it make the line much easier to draw, it can even be a little blurred and soft.

Checkmate
Chess not only stimulates our brains, but also provides aesthetic inspiration time and time again. The limited edition lip oils from Clarins represent the colors and patterns of the board game. The white shade is enriched with silver mother-of-pearl particles that create an iridescent sheen. Innovation was the order of the day with the black shade: the mother-of-pearl particles do not color the lips black, but develop a plum hue thanks to a pigment that adapts to the pH value of the lips. Thanks to plant oils such as hazelnut and jojoba, the lips remain nourished all day long.

Minimalist make-up looks for the catwalks of Coperni and Off-White as well as for magazines such as Vogue, Pop and Another: make-up artist Fara Homidi’s source of creativity is so strong that it was only a matter of time before she launched her own line. It contains everything that makes the artist so popular: a handful of innovative, clean products – vegan and cruelty-free – in which texture, quality and aesthetics have top priority. With lip products, a contour set and a brush, you have everything you need for a naturally stunning look. In photographer Zoë Ghertner, Fara Homidi has found a creative ally who brings her visions to life visually – and provides us with plenty of inspiration. Fara Homidi’s products are not yet available on every corner. In Switzerland, you can get your hands on them at greenlane, online or locally.
