Every time you enter the exhibition spaces of Louis Vuitton and artist Yayoi Kusama, a door opens to another world. We discover the limits of infinity with them.
Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama go to infinity and much further with the exhibition of their art project “Creating Infinity: The Worlds of Louis Vuitton X Yayoi Kusama”. Fashion and art have joined forces to create a series of unique installations – with the aim of capturing the vision of infinity. The Japanese artist’s characteristic polka dots are present throughout the installation and adorn everything from handbags to items of clothing. The exhibition comprises a variety of rooms: from a room completely covered in polka dots to a mirrored cube. Kusama’s works often consist of thousands of mirrors that immerse the viewer in an infinity of reflective surfaces. Entering the rooms takes you on an almost extraterrestrial journey, with lights and colors that make the audience forget any reference to reality. With a world of infinite possibilities and wonder, Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama prove what can be created with the mutual inspiration of art and fashion.
