When a dream becomes reality, it’s more beautiful than the cheesiest Cinderella fairy tale. Jessica Kovacs has done it and founded her own fashion labels Sovaye and J by JK. But this was not the only reason why guests made the pilgrimage on 31. May 2022 to Zurich, where the pulse thunders like a church bell at mass: Kovacs opened her own store, another milestone in the fashion designer’s life. Accompanied by white wine from Viice Versa, cool beats and finger food, she explained the concept to her guests: Kovacs produces the hot items from Sovaye and J by JK sustainably and fairly in her own production facility in Istanbul. The idea: to sell not only her own collections in the Zurich store, but also those of young designers who, like her, are initially looking for a platform. Well, the crowd, which was on a par with that of a One Direction concert, speaks for itself.
