Where: Utoquai 45, 8008 Züric
The roof terrace of La Muña and Lake Zurich are only separated by a railing – here we are literally just a stone’s throw away from the best place to cool off in Zurich. Luigi and his team will take you on a culinary journey to Napoli and spoil you with specialties from the Mediterranean: from fish to pizza and pasta, there is everything here that Nonna also serves up late at night in the olive tree garden. Better come with an empty stomach so that you still have room for a piece of pasta frolla with espresso after the secondi piatti.
Jules Verne Panorama Bar
jules-verne.ch
Where: Uraniastrasse 9, 8001 Zurich

Rigiblick Terrace
restaurantrigiblick.ch
Where: Germaniastrasse 99, 8044 Zurich
Just outside the city center, we drive into the countryside and are warmly welcomed by the open doors of the Rigiblick restaurant. We settle down on the large round terrace that rises up in front of the miniature castle. A bit cheesy, yes, but who would say no to such a fairytale scene?
Wine tavern

Clouds Bar
clouds.ch
Where: Maagpl. 5, 8005 Zurich
The Clouds Bar on Maagplatz is undoubtedly the most beautiful and highest rooftop terrace in the city of Zurich. The elegant and modern atmosphere is a jewel for locals and tourists alike with
extensive cocktail menu.

That means: first admire what’s hanging on the clothes rails downstairs and then head upstairs for a cool drink. Or vice versa?
ooo
ooo-zh.ch
Where: Bahnhofstrasse 74 8001 Zurich
No, that’s not a placeholder for a title, but the name of the next rooftop bar. Best known in Zurich as the Modissa bar, this place impresses with its beautiful view and fusion cuisine. And even though the fashion house is no longer at home there, the bar remains our favorite place to refuel on Bahnhofstrasse.
bQm
The best thing about studying was the student life. You can have it back – at least for one evening – at the bQm. This student bar below the Polyterrasse offers a great view of the city on the Limmat, a good atmosphere every evening and reasonably priced drinks. And as a non-student – unlike the majority of guests – you can have a drink here without a guilty conscience. After all, you don’t have any lectures the next day.
Need to cool off? Here are the best gelaterias in the city on the Limmat. And for the less beautiful days, you can find the best bars in Zurich here.
