5.10, Opening ceremony Cadillac City, Bahnhofstrasse 75, Zurich
With the engine howling and tires squealing – unfortunately we don’t have an electric car yet – we set off on the 5th. October 2023 at Bahnhofstrasse 75 in Zurich. After all, we didn’t want to be late for the opening of Cadillac City. The two-story newcomer on the prestigious shopping street is dedicated to Cadillac’s first electric SUV, the Lyriq, and serves as an experience center where we can discover and design the new vehicle. Experience was also the order of the day at the opening party. Designer Yael Anders drew her art on the Lyriq, while shakers flew through the air behind the bar. But it wasn’t just the sweet temptations in a jar that got the party started – mixer maestro DJ Rampa also created a great atmosphere. Good, the new showroom with its 600 square meters offers enough space. Surrounded by fancy cars, we were able to show off our dancing talent and feel like we were at a party from “Fast & Furious”.
Highlight: DJ Rampa, the canon of atmosphere.
Conclusion: Fast cars and wild party nights? Not a combination worth recommending – except at the Cadillac City opening party.
