What’s most important to you in your photo camera?
Sara Leutenegger: The most important thing, of course, is the quality of the images and videos. What’s more, the settings don’t have to be too complicated. When things need to happen quickly, it’s important to me that the automatic mode is also good enough to generate beautiful shots.
F:
To what extent does the Sony ZV-1 support you in coping well with your everyday life as an influencer?
SL: The Sony ZV-1 is a perfect vlogging camera as it has a display that you can rotate so that you can film yourself and check what is on the recording. It also has a super focus setting that immediately recognizes what it needs to focus on. In a beauty tutorial video, for example, you can hold the product in front and the camera will immediately focus on the product and blur the background. What I also think is great is the size of the camera, it’s not too big and not too heavy, so it’s super easy to take with you.
F:
Why do you use a camera like Sony’s for your photos and videos and not your smartphone?
SL: I always use a camera for my pictures because it’s important to me to have good quality. I also realize that I can get a lot more out of a picture if I shoot it with a good camera, because you can adjust the light optimally for the right environment.
F:
What do you particularly like about the Sony ZV-1 camera?
SL:
What I like best is how the ZV-1 sets the focus, which makes filming much easier for me.
F:
Which feature convinces you the most?
SL:
I am impressed by the image stabilization, the fast, precise focus transitions and the tilting touchscreen.

Tell us your best trick for great videos with the Sony ZV-1!
SL: You can adjust the bokeh effect with a button at the top right. This allows you to blur the background with a single click and thus bring yourself into focus.
F:
What is your favorite thing to use the Sony ZV-1 for?
SL: For vlogging videos! I’m already looking forward to when we can travel more again and I can use the camera even more.
F:
What does the flip-up LCD screen help you with in particular?
SL:
So that you can see yourself and thus also see whether you are completely in the shot and not cutting off your head, for example.
F:
Which of the new setting options are your favorite?
SL:
I’m still testing and finding new settings that I like, but the practical thing for me is the screen and the focus setting.
