We are looking for a new member of our editorial team with immediate effect or by arrangement:
Lifestyle editor (50 to 100%, permanent)
Your tasks include:
- You research trends, topics and stories from the lifestyle areas of fashion, beauty, culture, design, travel and food on a daily basis.
- You will independently and carefully implement editorial contributions for print, online and social media.
- You write your own texts and also regularly edit and proofread contributions from interns and freelance writers, demonstrating your excellent knowledge of grammar and spelling.
- You write advertorials and publicity reports and implement them competently and reliably in cooperation with clients.
- You will support the publishing house in creating articles for other internal products such as Forbes magazine.
Your profile contains:
- You have journalistic training as well as professional experience in an editorial office and score points with your excellent writing style.
- You are interested in the whole range of lifestyle topics and are always up to date with the latest trends in all areas.
- You are well connected and enjoy interacting with people from PR, marketing and journalism.
- You know how to prepare texts for print, online and social media in different ways and are familiar with SEO.
- You also feel comfortable in English, are business fluent and are able not only to conduct interviews in English, but also to translate texts.
- You are passionate about good stories and want to realize them in a motivated team.
- You can work under pressure and are prepared to attend presentations and events outside regular working hours and abroad.
