Smile, snap, post: Influencers are a dime a dozen these days. But the truly authentic ones are as rare as a needle in a haystack. Nevertheless, there was praise and trophies. At the first Swiss Influencer Award.
Digitalization has us firmly in its grip. And that is precisely the reason why make-up junkies, sports stars and fashion maniacs from our ranks now populate Olympus just as much as screen stars. Digitally, they bring us joy, which we returned to them in analog form at the Swiss Influencer Awards 2019. The Digital Heroes therefore appeared in the flesh on 20. June in Zurich’s Volkshaus, where fans and friends showered her with more applause than the sky showered the city on the Limmat with rain that evening. Janosch Nietlispach tried his hand at being a roving reporter, while Annina Frey and Claudia Lässer charmingly hosted the live broadcast of the show. In addition to the veterans Zeki, Zoë, Bligg and Co., talents whose follower numbers have not yet broken any records were also able to bask in the light of the press. The winner Anna Smith beamed all the more when her name appeared on the screen. Authentic, likeable and one thing above all: genuine.
Highlights: Luca Hänni’s air jump, Gabirano’s backstage catwalk and Raffa Zollo’s princess dress.
Conclusion: partying is the most fun in analog form.
