Hermès Fall/Winter 2025/26 – Firmly in the saddle with tradition and style

The Hermès Fall/Winter 2025/26 collection, under the creative direction of Nadège Vanhée, combines the House’s equestrian heritage with bold sophistication. This season, tradition gets a bold upgrade: saddle leather browns meet rich cypress and lime green, punctuated by clear marble white and grounded with deep anthracite and slate gray. This is heritage with a twinkle in the eye, elegance with a cheeky twist.

The Hermès Fall/Winter 2025/26 Collection

Dresses with an edge

Sculptural silhouettes and the precision of equestrianism characterize the dresses – but with a sharp, confident edge. Strict cuts meet ribbed textures and structured knit fabrics, while shiny lambskin inserts, sophisticated cut-outs and striking zippers add a rebellious dynamic. These are not just elegant classics – they have character, attitude and a playful, almost mischievous charm.

Hermès Fall/Winter 2025/26

Skirts with equestrian influence

Forget the classic riding skirts of yesteryear. Here come figure-hugging leather designs with precise cuts, asymmetric silhouettes and saddle-inspired lace-ups for a dynamic, almost untamed look. Wool felt skirts fall with architectural elegance and are paired with textured knits – from off-the-shoulder tops to fine, fingerless cashmere opera gloves. A sophisticated balance between equestrian discipline and modern sensuality.

Micro shorts: cheeky and saddle-proof

The micro shorts in quilted or butter-soft supple leather make a confident statement. Precisely placed belts and saddle-inspired details underline their striking look. Combined with transparent fabrics, tight-fitting knitwear and voluminous coats, the result is an exciting interplay of austerity and tongue-in-cheek playfulness.

Pants: Strict, but with attitude

The pants strike a perfect balance between sharp tailoring and flowing movement. From close-fitting, shaped cuts to wide-leg, loose-fitting styles, they exude both power and serenity. Soft lambskin and goatskin give them a luxurious feel, while lime green suits redefine power dressing with a touch of playfulness. These are joined by cropped blazers and floor-length coats for a touch of drama – but never too serious.

Coats: strong, sculptural, unagitatedly bold

Hermès coats make statements without big words. Sculptural shapes combine matt wool fabrics with shiny leather, quilted with flowing elements, structure with movement. Tailored cuts create a striking silhouette, while oversized proportions and layered textures exude a casual authority. The perfect blend of power dressing and effortless chic.

Gilets: cool, edgy, with attitude

Gilets step into the limelight – cut from delicate, quilted leather. Short and fitted for sharp turtleneck combos or in a longer version, worn casually over saddle-laced skirts. The exciting contrast of shiny and matt, firm and flowing, gives them a modern, slightly cheeky touch.

Jackets: riding chic with an architectural edge

Jackets set the tone in this riding style. A shiny goatskin biker jacket radiates confident coolness, while cleverly cut ottoman wool jersey jackets sharpen the silhouette with subtle drama. A fitted gabardine bomber jacket combines structure and nonchalance, defining outerwear with architectural precision – and a pinch of boldness.

Shoes with attitude

Knee-high riding boots made from soft leather add a classic finishing touch to the collection – their elongated shape harmonizes perfectly with the structured looks above. Tapered ankle boots and lace-up heels provide an edgy contrast and balance strength with elegance. Textured surfaces and sculptural heels make a modern statement: nothing is left to chance here – but don’t play it safe either.

Novelty Bags

The bags play with structure and movement – and a good dose of attitude. The Mallette Minaudière reinterprets the clutch with architectural precision, its boxy design is reminiscent of traditional suitcase craftsmanship. The Double Longe Bag combines saddle-inspired details with supple calfskin, while the Petit Sac shines with bold delicacy in rich, timeless colors. Luxury with a charming wink.

Hermès is a traditional house whose DNA needs to be developed with sensitivity – but it has long been made for more than just the equestrian elite. Nadège Vanhée delivers a collection that at first glance appears “classic Hermès”, but beneath the surface carries a subtly cheeky, almost subversive undertone. This season distils equestrian elegance into a timeless wardrobe with a touch of rebellion. In a world of abundance, Hermès whispers its mastery – but with a mischievous twinkle in its eye. True luxury is not only felt, but sometimes playfully challenged.
