The up-and-coming fashion label Jacquesmus has opened its new headquarters in the lively art scene of Paris, attracting the attention of art lovers and connoisseurs alike. The headquarters are located in the 8th arrondissement and serve not only as a creative workspace, but also as an inspiring oasis for art enthusiasts.
From the elegant showroom to the office workspaces and workshop to the pretty courtyard, every detail attracts attention. The studio itself is housed in a charming old building, typical of the architecture of this district. Upon entering, you are surrounded by a variety of artworks that demonstrate Jacquemus aka Simon Porte’s artistic journey and talent.
The interior design is carefully curated and perfectly reflects the brand’s minimalist aesthetic. Powerful combinations of colors and shapes evoke an emotional resonance in the viewer. Spacious rooms, bright walls and soft lighting, accentuated by iconic design pieces such as: Camaleonda sofas in earthy brown by Mario Bellini, Mississippi sofa by Pierre Paulin, the iconic chrome serving trolley by Marcel Breuer, sculpted minimalist chairs by Japanese eccentric Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garçons) and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, create an overwhelming experience.
Natural tones with light blue accents and soft pink tones, interspersed with red lines and dark eye-catchers, create a classic palette with Bauhaus touches.
An ode to sensuality
Simon Porte’s concrete love for the human body is unmistakable. The spectrum ranges from abstract paintings to sculptural works, with each piece telling its own story. Sculptures with light, expressive movements adorn every corner of the property, accompanied by an exquisite selection of nude paintings and drawings. A hand-picked selection of painters and photographers such as Wolfgang Tillmans, David Hockney, Peter Washing, Amedeo Modigliani, Joan Hoverstadt, Louis Fratino and even a drawing by Karl Lagerfeld adorn the walls.
An office so chic and inspiring that nobody wants to work from home anymore!
