Drinking a pint of Guinness in Dublin is a must, but the Irish capital has much more to offer. Read photographer Brendan Duffy’s insider tips here.
A city where Oscar Wilde and William Butler Yeats lived must have something. Dublin is not at the top of the city trip list, but it is well worth a visit. Ancient pubs and Georgian-style terraced houses line the streets, and Dubliners gather in the bars on every corner after work. Brendan Duffy, photographer and Dubliner with heart and soul, takes us to his favorite places and shows us the “black pond” as it is. Follow him – if someone pats you on the back on the way and tells you an old joke about an Irish 7-course meal consisting of a six-pack of Guinness and a potato, that’s deep imposture.
