Our body thanks us for a balanced diet – with radiant skin! Reliable beautifiers are foods rich in antioxidants such as blueberries, nuts, tomatoes, potatoes and carrots.
2. peel away
If you want to enjoy a rosy glow, you can counteract a dull complexion with regular exfoliation: Dead skin cells are gently removed, blood circulation is stimulated and our skin becomes more receptive. But beware: less is more! Exfoliating too often can cause our delicate skin to age prematurely.
3. mask on
Mask on! No, we’re not just talking about face masks: the quickest way to a fresh look is with rich sheet masks. They bind moisture without clogging our pores, retouch fine lines and first wrinkles and leave a complexion that is more radiant than the Teletubbies’ sun baby.
4. lip balm
For a healthy glow, we also like to smear lip balm on our face from time to time: we apply a little of the creamy texture to the cheekbones to give our face a soft shimmer.

Even if it’s cloudy outside and sun protection is probably the last thing on our minds when the weather is bad, we should still apply sunscreen! Using a cream with a sun protection factor every day not only protects the skin from UV radiation and wrinkles, but also gives the face a healthy glow.

Probably the most common and simplest trick: highlighter. The trick, however, is to apply it correctly. Because if you overdo it with the shimmering powder, you run the risk of looking like a glittering Christmas tree. The most suitable places to create an elegant glow are on the cheekbones, inner corners of the eyes, bridge of the nose and brow bone.
7. remove it all
Yes, removing make-up is sometimes a real cramp. Especially when we are already snuggled up in bed. But: Get your ass up! If we don’t let our skin breathe overnight, our pores become clogged, unsightly blemishes form and we can only dream of a glowy complexion. Pro tip: Keep make-up remover wipes in the bedside drawer so that we always have an emergency solution to hand when laziness takes over.
