What began with the Fisher Price piano has now culminated in the release of his first single: St. Gallen musician King Ketelby James has been rapping since the sixth grade, is part of the rap trio JAS CRW and has already helped names like Naomi Lareine get started with his label Starter Gang. Now it’s his turn: “Gravity” is the name of his first song, which was written after he moved from Switzerland to Ghana. Many memories can be found in the lyrics of the song, which can be categorized somewhere between soul, R’n’B and Afro-beat. “Gravity” is chilled music with good beats, lyrics that drip into the ear like wax from a candle, and a melody that makes you dream of the beach, palm trees and warmth, even in cold Switzerland.
