The summer is going to be hot: because we’re rocking to the sounds of the 80’s at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza as part of the Children of the 80’s party series and bringing Abba, Cyndi Lauper and co. back to life.

We never turn up the volume more than when the sound of the 80s is booming out of the speakers! No wonder we’ve already booked our ticket to Ibiza, because the Hard Rock Hotel on the island is paying homage to the best decade in music with its Children of the 80’s party until the end of September 2022. We slip into our neon socks and get our sneakers ready: The big 80s party takes place every Friday on the open-air stage of the hottest hotel on Playa d’en Bossa. Among other things, we are eagerly awaiting the performance by The Bony M. Experience, who will be playing catchy tunes for two hours – and making us forget how long ago the 80s actually were. If you haven’t had enough yet, don’t worry: Cece Rogers, Barbara Tucker and Rozalla are also waiting in the wings and will not only rock the stage, but also our eardrums. One of the highlights: NEON COLLECTIVE, which brings the hits of 80s legends such as Depeche Mode, U2 and The Cure out of the dusty nostalgia box and into the light of day. By the time the Passion Dance Group and the break dancers from Performance Lab perform, even the last person will be jumping over their shadows and shaking their limbs with fervor. From 7 p.m. until midnight, you can reminisce about times gone by. What happens afterwards? We rock back to the here and now.

The journey from the airport to the Hard Rock Hotel, where we find a new temporary home in one of 493 rooms and suites, takes just under a song.
