Blue pill or red pill? While we are glad that this decision affects Neo from “The Matrix” and not us, we sense that virtual, computer-generated realities are no longer just at home on the big screen. But what opportunities does this development offer us, what dangers might it conceal, and do we as a society want to go in this direction at all? Digital Art Zurich 2023, or DAZ for short, will address these questions from 19. until 29. October 2023. The festival is now in its fourth year and once again invites the world’s most renowned digital artists to six different locations in the city on the Limmat. Over ten days, we can expect interactive installations, audiovisual performances, VR experiences and other exciting things from the virtual realm. Would you like to join us?
