London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026/27 started with clear conviction. Instead of restraint, the week delivered one thing above all: attitude. British heritage was cut up, reassembled and worn with purpose. Coats dominated. Checks were taken apart and rebuilt. Romanticism was structured, layered and deliberately slightly undone. London’s designers did what they do best – they challenged the idea of flawless perfection and replaced it with personality.
It was clear from the last look at the latest: London remains the risk department of the industry. Nothing has been softened up for the sake of more pleasing. Proportions were pushed, traditions were rethought, designers clearly stood behind their stance. Fall/Winter 2026/27 cared little for trends, but all the more for identity. In a season that sought clarity, London delivered exactly that.

As we move on to Milan, London leaves a precise impression. British design is at its strongest when it challenges its own codes rather than preserving them untouched. This season has shown: Attitude – expressed through proportion, texture and tension – is when London is at its most relevant.
