Tod’s Italian Winter Collection just in time for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics

Tod’s Italian Winter Collection just in time for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics

Italian luxury dressing is characterized by sprezzatura: attention to detail, quality and an effortless naturalness. The Tod’s Italian Winter Collection picks up on precisely these values. Launched on January 27, 2026 as a limited edition collaboration with Franz Kraler, it underscores Tod’s position in the realm of Italian luxury, where craftsmanship and restraint matter more than novelty for novelty’s sake.

The launch location is central to the collection. Cortina d’Ampezzo, located in the Dolomites of northern Italy, is one of the most established winter sports resorts in Europe – known for its ski culture, luxurious boutiques and international après-ski scene. To mark the launch, the Franz Kraler boutique was given a new look as part of a creative takeover: the shop window and façade were designed as a stylized, white Alpine landscape inspired by life in the mountains.

Beautiful views: Tod’s has taken over the shop window from the Franz Kraler store in Cortina.

The Tod’s Italian Winter Collection

However, the collection itself is not intended as performance wear for the slopes. Instead, Tod’s focuses on what comes after skiing: social rituals, characterized by coming together, leisure and conviviality.

At the center of the collection is the Tod’s Gommino – a return to the roots of the house. The suede ankle boot, known as the Winter Gommino, retains its original proportions and characteristic sole, complemented by a shearling lining for winter. Complementing this, the Gommino loafer appears in shearling and carries over one of the brand’s best-known shoe codes.

Shearling can also be found in the accessories: Tod’s Timeless T – Bags appear in winter variations – from practical totes to compact micro-buckets.

Ready-to-wear focuses on outerwear. For women in a cashmere blend with leather details, for men in technical materials and in pashmy leather, which reflects the highest standards of Tod’s material research and selection.

The timing of Tod’s Italian Winter Collection takes on added relevance in light of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, which kick off on February 6. As Cortina prepares for an international audience, Italian Winter fits seamlessly into the social side of the season. It dresses the moments around the event, where leisure, encounters and Italian style characterize the experience. Arrive in Italian style, baby.

The Tod’s Italian Winter Collection is available in the Tod’s boutique in Milan, in the Franz Kraler store in Cortina d’Ampezzo and online at tods.com and franzkraler.com.
