Fashion Show Christoph Marti

Exciting fashion is not only available in Paris, Milan or New York. On 17. March, the trip to Lohn-Ammannsegg in Solothurn was enough. Multi-talented Christoph Marti presented his latest collections there – and impressed with minimalist tone-on-tone looks.

The amount of creativity flowing through Christoph Marti’s veins is almost outrageous. As a photographer, he has embellished various magazines with his pictures and has already been able to demonstrate his skills for Italian Vogue. But not enough for the creative mind. That’s why he ventured into the fashion industry and presented his fashionable works in Solothurn for the first time in 2017. Now, two years later, the next move followed – somewhat more roadworthy, but no less striking. A total of four collections were presented at his own show on 17. March in Lohn-Ammannsegg. No frills or color were to be found. In return, there was a double portion of coolness. Edgy cuts, unusual fabrics and daring combinations, all very clean in black and white, caused plenty of gasps from the audience. The influence of his photographic work could be admired as the crowning glory in his Trash Couture collection, where paper, plastic and adhesive tape provided artistic highlights.

Highlight:
Fashion from the Bauhaus – Christoph Marti can even turn bubble wrap into an it-piece.

Conclusion:
The Swiss fashion industry is stepping on the gas.
